* Firstly – I was in error

Before anything else I want to be man enough to admit
I was wrrr, wrrro, wrrroon… in error!

(Old joke there for those old enough to remember
The Fonz! – he could never say he was Wrong!)

Yep – When I mentioned about adding comments to
my blog (or anyone elses for that matter) in order
to get some traffic to your sites,–

I said it would get a ‘backlink’

Well Paula, and Dan were discussing it,
and Dan being a techy sort – proved me wrong!

Well sort of-
It seems blogs are strange beasts that have
a ‘nofollow’ link built into them, meaning the
search engine spiders won’t actually credit your link!

That said – some people install plugins to cancel that
out – so that they do! ??

Yeah – too much for me too
Anyway – In his next post Dan is going to show us
how to sort that so we can have follow links and
the backlinks will count, and you can be sure I
will be implementing it!

So that’s my error explained….. BUT

Yep – Paula nicely said that she assumed I meant
getting extra traffic from posting due to other
visitors clicking any interesting comments just
to see more about who wrote it.
(So I’ll go with that thanks Paula)
That was it…. hehe

LOL
In actual fact Peggy wrote and told me She had
received 18 hits to her site from adding a comment
to my blog last week

So you do get traffic from posting on other blogs -
but the backlink depends on the blog in questions
and whether it has follow or nofollow codes.

In a Nutshell – just keep posting on them…lol

* Coming Soon – You Might Just LOVE it!

Just to keep you informed,
there’s a host of giveaways over the next few months
that I’ve already been made aware of.

Based on the great results I’ve had – and some of the great
people on my lists, I’m already half way through putting a
report together about them.

Once it’s finished I intend to give you it with rights, so that
you have another tool you can both learn from and use to
build your own list.

One resource I did come across that is excellent for those
strating out and wanting to join in – but possibly
struggling setting it all up – is from Stephanie Mulac.

I spoke to Her last week and I’ve been reading her report
called Giveaway500.
It’s very step by step and does go into a lot of detail
that I don’t particulary need myself. But then it is
aimed at a complete newbie.

However – even intermediates will like it I think, as it
has an html wizard as part of the package… which builds
all the pages you need to have in place for a giveaway…
a really cool toy…. lol

Anyway – I will be recommending Giveaway500 in my report,

I know – nothing for over a week and now I’m into a right
old Ramble…lol

Seriously, You wouldn’t believe how hectic a week it’s been.

I had the Northallerton Meet Up on Monday and though there
were only 3 of us this time, we had chance of a great chat.

The long and short of it is that I have teamed up with a
new business partner for a long term project that I believe
will help a heck of a lot of people – especially newbies
trying to build a business without the budgets that many
marketers have!

I can’t give anything away yet – but I reckon a lot of
people will really love what we’re going to be doing…
and will be very happy with our service.

Yep – a service – that’s all you’re getting for now…hehe

Right – just before I go on to MoreMonthly – my new site,
I figured I’d better mention Mike Filsaime

After all – isn’t everybody this week?

Ok – I mentioned him.
hehe – sorry I must need more oxygen, it’s warm and
I’m feeling some relief at what I’ve managed to get
through this week

Anyway – no links from me.
I certainly would have given his free /$8 for shipping
etc. a try – as I do think it would even be worth risking
extra for a month of his magazine….

But he shot himself in the foot from my point of view.
AND Not because of the forced continuity program many are
complaining about.
He wasn’t sneaky with it – so I see no issue there!
Nope – it’s because he didn’t offer it through his own paydotcom,
or paypal… just credit card only – and I don’t have one…..lol

Then pop over to John Thornhill’s blog
I’ve had a heck of a lot of marketers offering bonuses – but
none of them beat what John is offering if you get it
through his link – find it on his blog

I would have bought the month magazine thing JUST for Johns bonus!

Yes – I’ve saved the best til last!

A site I planned over a year ago, it’s taken me a
couple of months to get built.
Then test and tweak – and then I broke it...hehe
Now it’s finally ready to launch.

So I’m doing it quietly to you first.
