Here we go, as I start writing this I’m wondering if it’ll get posted today…lol
It’s been a long day for me (but all my own fault)
I guess it started with taking Sunday off completely. I had some stuff on my to do list that I was planning on getting done….but.
Haha – if you think I’m going to say I ended up browsing some sites instead, you’d be wrong (for a change…lol)
I thought I’d pop over to Catterick Sunday Market after nipping into Scorton Sunday Car Boot Sale…I know I’ve probably confused anyone who isn’t in the UK already.
So anyway – a quick tour of the Car Boot Sale bagged me the complete Star Wars series on DVD, well actually they were for Cameron! He has them on Video but wanted them on DVD 
($20 for all 6)
Then I wandered up the road to the Sunday Market.
Having remembered that it was my Step Mum’s 75th birthday last Monday I wanted to get something she’d like and then drop in to deliver it, as I hadn’t been round on the day.
Just as I was leaving I bumped into an old friend so we went back down the market to grab a coffee and a catch up, and then I finally got off to go see PatMum. (With country CD collection and card in hand)
She loved the CD’s and we spent an age just chatting away. It’s great to see her still enjoying good health at 75… in fact she still seems around 60 to most of us in the family!
I’m sure that comes from living life with passion and enjoying it.
After being told of the arrangements for a family dinner next Saturday with over 20 of us booked into a high class, local pub restaurant, I eventually got home too late to do anything I had on my list!
Then Monday – I basically chatted all day with the guys who attended the Northallerton Meet Up.
With a very small attendance this month it was easy to get into some detail with them, and that lead to nothing but support and personal emails getting crossed of the list.
LOL
So all in all, spending my time between all that with Rachel and watching some TV – nothing got done!
So why am I telling you?
Well 2 reasons really.
1 – cos some of my readers are good friends (and some I hope will become good friends in future) so I thought you’d be interested, and you know what I’m like at rambling on …lol
But more importantly:
2 – Because I’m hoping it motivates you to get your sites & systems in place so you can do the same very soon! (If you aren’t already)
So today instead of my usual 3 – 4 hours, I’ve spent around 9 hours online getting through the bits I wanted to…
The point being that I have the choice.
So I sincerely hope that some of the resources I’m linking to today help give you choices.
And I hope you’re progressing along to the day when you can just decide to NOT work if you don’t feel like it, and you’d rather squander a day or two with family and friends – just cos you can

I’m sure you know the popularity of videos and how much time the average Internet user spends online watching videos.
However, most people are hesitant to create their videos for three main reasons:
1. They do not wish to invest in expensive software or spend time figuring out the technical knowledge required
2. They are not confident speaking over the microphone or simply don’t like their voice
3. They simply don’t know how to!

I think this site when it launches will help a lot of smaller marketers to complete with the big boys on those bigger launches!
As an affiliate marketer the one thing I could never compete with the big guys on were the bonus packages they would offer to get the all important sales to get themselves in the top ten promoters lists to claim the JV prizes.

* An Update, Wow it does it very well – Twittollower!
OK, I’ve been writing nearly an hour now. (Glad it doesn’t take that long to read…lol)
But I did want to mention Twittollower again just to update you.
On the 5th I will have been a member for 8 weeks! Not long at all really.
For those who have followed my results with it, I have two twitter accounts.
One I set up around 18months ago and the new one I set up for Twittollower.
Well – the twittollower one has now OVERTAKEN my older account in number of followers!
As of today I have 3444 on my old account and 3588 on the twittollower grown one!

That’s what I call a result.

I know mine has, and likewise every online friend I know who is using the service has said the same thing to me.
They are ALL very happy with it and don’t want to part with it now!

Not much of a catch up today as I don’t feel I’ve done much this week….lol
Well not online stuff anyway!
I’ve actually had two days out to ‘learn’ stuff
Hopefully we all learn a little daily.
I actually had two of my subscribers come to my home to show me stuff I wanted to know about. One to teach me more about video, and one for some
techy stuff I’ll be using in a new project I’m about to start.
And what I hope will be Your lesson for the day, is to get active on forums and get to know people, that’s part of how I first met the two guys who came round.
I respond to my emails personally, I post and try to help on forums – this lead to relationships with people who I now call friends… To the point that they both were happy to travel to my home and help me!
OK – short lesson – but worth repeating because I see so many lurkers in forums who I just KNOW could advance their own business if they just got involved
And if that was a boring lesson, I’m sorry… But it’s so important to build relationships online that I’d rather risk boring you and giving you real advice – than preach some fancy technique that you’d probably not understand anyway.
So have a serious think about whether you’re helping yourself by getting involved with people

Well I seem to be back into full swing now, how about you?
I’m already getting behind (lol) – not bad after 5 days back at work…hehe
If you caught my last post, I mentioned how exciting I’m finding things at the moment… and they keep getting more so!

While everyone locally is complaining about the snow and freezing temperatures, I’ve been getting more details on all sorts of good stuff. (But all in good time)

I’ve now posted two tweets to my blog and that has also had 22 clicks!
I can’t wait to see this in a few weeks time!

Hi and welcome to what may be my final post of the year
So firstly let me say
I wish you a happy holiday season and a great new year
I’m just putting the finishing touches to 30 more product downloads in my MoreMonthly site, and then I have an email or two to write and send…. other than that I’m about done for the year.
So I thought I’d end the year with a summary of some of the products and freebies I’ve mentioned throughout the year
I certainly wouldn’t suggest you read it all thoroughly as there seems to be a lot of it…lol
I hadn’t realised until now just how many times I link to freebies. (Note to self to do more promotions in future…lol)
Seriously though – it’s been a great year for me and I hope it has for you and all my readers too!

I started the year with a strong recommendation to join John Thornhill’s coaching program.
I’ve become friends with so many people who have taken this course (which keeps getting more value added to it), and I’ve seen some great (and some truly metioric) successes from those who invested in John’s coaching. So I will be promoting it again when he re-launches it at the end of Jan 2010.

Another big month in terms of my business…

So it was a massive move to a server 8 times bigger than the one we had!

August saw the official Launch of GuruBypass (crikey that felt like it was much much earlier….lol – I guess we spent far too long putting all the videos together and building the actual site..hehe)
But as I mentioned – it has gone on to become a very successful product (and I highly recommend checking it out if you don’t have it…naturally )

September saw me buying a new pc after the hassles I had from a virus killing my old one.
That’s one thing I’m glad is behind me!!
I did stumble over a few useful freebies as part of getting my pc up to scratch…

As ever – I added more freebies to help people like the direct download link to 5 ways to use twitter:
I attended yet another Lee McIntyre weekend (see august for his freebies) and I spent a lot of time building a site for Rachel using ‘MultiProfitWebsites‘.
I say a lot of time – the site I built was very easy to do with the software – but I spent a lot of time promoting the software and writing up how a non techy like me could easily use MPW.
MPW will be coming back onto the market in 2010 – but I still have a secret link to the old price here:
(handy that I did so well with it as not everyone has that link)
MPW was that good it turned out to be my highest earning affiliate promotion of the year, which was very nice as it paid for Christmas basically – But it also helped a lot of people get a Multi Profit Website built who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to!
Halloween also saw my 1 year anniversary of meeting and falling for Rachel, yeah – I know – nothing to do with marketing… But I wanted to mention it anyway as I’m so looking forward to waking up with her on Christmas morning and handing over the pile of presents I’ve got for her (before dashing around family and friends with theirs)… OK enough soppy stuff
**November
November saw the first mention of the latest promo everyone seems to have jumped on…. It was when I announced I wouldn’t be promoting it and gave my reasons why. Those who know me will already know what that’s all about so I wont labour on it.
Suffice to say – I’ll promote what I believe is good for my readers and I like to tell them the best way to get the best deals – I wont be told that I can’t mention certain things!
So quickly moving on – another succesful promotion I had was in November for Geoff Shaws Bum Blogging membership.
I still have the special link that saves my readers $60 off the usual $97 price
(I love it when I get to do that – yep…less commission, but more satisfaction on having helped people)
I also made a couple of mentions of Tony Shepherds latest freebie PMMS which is the main one I’ll be implementing first chance I get with my new releases in 2010! A great freebie you really should consider grabbing!
The 29th saw me get another year older… that wasn’t so nice!
BUT – after the initial upset of realising I’m getting closer to ‘getting on a bit’ – I did find time to be grateful for the internet and the fact that I don’t have to ‘work’ for someone and give them most of my life in exchange for a few dollars that pays the bills to continue the cycle!
Quite apt really as it’s so close to the Americans ‘ThanksGiving’ day.
And I do genuinely hope there are people among my readers who are progressing and getting nearer their dreams and goals, and being thankful for whatever is getting them there!
**December
As for December – I have tended to focus more on freebies rather than the heavy promotions some seem to have been pitching.
The main promo I sent out was for Phantom Link Cloaker

All told this year has been a lot like any previous year in Internet Marketing!
There’s been good and bad, Some people have grown massively, other people have retired and some have passed on!
Many have joined the whole Make Money with your computer niche and many have quit.
Whatever stage you’re at, I wish you the very best in this holiday season (regardless of beliefs) – if you’re a member of the human race, you’re a part of my world. And if you’re not human, I still wish you peace and prosperity…lol)
2009 hads been a great year for me personally, in business, in relationships, and life in general.
I’ve acheived some great goals and objectives (missed plenty too), and I’m thankful for all I’ve learned and the people I’ve interacted with.
My own wish is simple:
That everyone loves their life, lives it with passion, and passes on their passions to others.
So here’s to a happy time now, and a prosperous and happy 2010

I’m not sure if you saw any posts mentioning that Jim Rohn had passed away on 5th December?
Heck I don’t even know if you’ve heard of him?
Either way I wanted to show my respects and pass on one of Jim’s storys that has implications to your business.
This video/audio is taken from a talk Jim gave about ‘Network Marketing’…. BUT – if you listen carefully and apply the principles to your own business and life,
I believe you will find that there’s a lot of good info in this short talk.
After listening, I would recommend you search for more of Jim’s content.
Not only is the advice good – but he always gives you a giggle that helps you remember what he’s said
