Where to start this week?
I guess I should explain the subject line…lol
For those old enough to remember … there was a TV series called ‘The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy’
(I believe the did a remake of it as a film – but I’ve not seen it)
Anyways – In it the Mice (who really ran the universe), Came to the conclusion after a millenia of research, that the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything was 42 !
hehe
Well – the 42 I’m referring to isn’t anything to do with that!
But ever since being a teenager and seeing the series, I can’t seem to get that silly quote out of my mind – whenever 42 is mentioned I have to quote that it’s the answer to Life the Universe and Everything!
And it’s amazing how many people smile knowingly….haha!

And now he has his last week at school… and come September he’ll be in ‘big’ school… frightening!
Rachels girls will finally be both full time in school then too! (Her youngest is only there half days at the mo in nursery school)

I can’t believe how many launches I’ve seen and been invited to promote this last week! – It’s hardly any wonder that so many people don’t make any money online! …. I’ve got next to nothing done myself just from ‘spending’ so much time checking out so many launches.
So much so that I think I’ll pass on promoting or even mentioning most of them – Honestly, there are a plenty of products and courses worth grabbing – but you don’t need them all!
If you study what you have and take serious and consistent action you should be able to make some ca$h before you have to invest anymore.

How are you this week?, We’re now in the last week of June and getting ready for ‘The Summer’ (we’ve actually been enjoying some fantastic weather here in the UK, – so just to put the spoiler in, the water companies are already starting to gripe and moan that we’ll run out of water again soon! tch!!)
But hey – July in less than a week! – Half way through the year already, and soon the kids will break up for their Summer Vacation!, 6 weeks of disorganised chaos to come 
And after taking all week just to catch up from a weekend off, I can’t say I’m looking forward to the chaos! Trying to keep up online normally is hard enough with everything that’s thrown at us…. All those “must have” products…lol
I sincerely hope that You and any readers who’ve been with me for a while, will by now realize that you really DON’T need to buy everything that is promoted to us?
But hey, I have to admit at the same time that there is an awful lot to take in and learn as we progress with our online businesses.
I think it’s only when I speak to non-IMers that I realize just how much I know and can do with a pc and some basic software!
So your lesson for today would be to suggest that you go talk to non computer people about what you can do! – I’m pretty sure it would give you a boost!
And the second part of that is the reason for this email….
It was only just the other day I was chatting with a big named marketer, and asking if he could promote a few of my sites sometime this year, that I took stock of a lot of the sites I have with some great freebies to help my readers learn some of what they need to know.
I’d basically promised to add an email to my autoresponder about one of his good products (Yep – it’s still on my to do list…lol)
But it made me question whether ALL my readers and subscribers even knew about half the sites I have with great content or useful products and services?
SO I figured hey – why not promote myself for a change?

Well another busy ‘offline’ week for me
Yep – camping again last weekend, same place and another great time in the outdoors with one Sunny day at least…lol
I also picked up my new car last weekend, so I’ve been driving that all over just to get used to trying to drive it slowly! (very hard to do!)
(Rachel hates it – it glues itself to corners and goes like a very fat car…. OK I wanted to say ‘Sh*t Off A Stick’ but wasn’t sure if that term is used in other countries, and I don’t like to use bad language in print either…lol)
I was hoping to email earlier – but time with family and some hassle with a non isp related service that reports spam did cause a few issues Pete and I had to deal with!
I found it hard to believe that someone could cause frustration with delivering our clients emails who wasn’t isp related…..
But hey – it just proves we can’t take our eye off the ball when providing a service! - Thank fully 95% of the grief was handled without any disruption to the service we offer.
But what a hassle having to answer to, and send related proof, dates IP’s etc. to someone who has no power other than to say 2 of their users weren’t happy at receiving an email they couldn’t remember optin in for!”
If you could have seen the complications involved – you’d really know WHY and you’d really want to ENSURE you were using a 3rd party service like WizardResponderPro.com !
We managed to appease all the concerned parties because of the thousands of dollars worth of system we have in place, and the knowledge we’ve gain over the last couple of years of running WizardResponder – but I’ll tell you what…. If someone with a shared host and their own script had the same issues, I guarantee they wouldn’t have a website now!
Seriously – if you’re going to build a list make sure you have a good autoresponder company look after it for you!
Naturally I’d recommend WizardResponder, but there are other good ones out there if we’re too cheap for you
Anyway – there does seem to be a lot happening this week, so I will try to keep the rest of the email brief and leave you to use your own judgment on what’s worth looking at for YOU and your circumstances
With regard to the subject line:
One Do, One Don’t - Equally Important!
The Do is:
Keep abreast of what is happening with all the latest launches!
As you can learn a lot just from watching. Whether that is How to launch, how to generate buzz, types of emails to send, what salescopy or videos work, and what people are buying etc.
The Don’t is:
Don’t let it all get to you and cause info overload!
Or go spending all your ca$h on everything you see… it wont help to own everything… It only ever helps if you stick to buying products that are going to be of use in the direction you’re moving!
A great analogy would be knowing that we need sun cream to prevent us from burning and causing skin damage…. then buying cases of it just because the salesletter offered you a fantastic deal if you buy today….
If you know you’re coming to the UK for a vacation – you just suffered the equivalent of info overload and wasted your ca$h!
However if you were off to somewhere like Spain – then it would be considered a great investment!
So by all means check out the latest happenings – but keep things in perspective and remember the one do and one don’t

I just wanted to mention another part of the service I think is great!
They send daily alerts which highlighted the fact that I’d completely forgotten the text ads and banner ads I had earned in a couple of TE’s
This meant that I was now told I had around 3000 banners ads to assign and believe it or not over 10,000 text ads still to assign!
If it hadn’t been for TECP – I would never have gotten around to assign those and gaining even more traffic and exposure!

Can I say a big THANK YOU to those who stopped by my blog and watched the wedding video of Jon & Kelly’s Big Day…
They loved the fact that it had over 80 views
Apparently it made Kelly Cry ?? (I’m told for females this is a good thing??)
LOL
On the home front, Kelly has been round with the actual photographers pictures and given me a wedding album which is filled with high quality photos from the day, and I love it
I’ve also realised that I’m not getting enough work done with how many bits I’m behind on!!!
So I’ve taken action in yet another strange way….
I’ve hired my eldest as my cleaner!
I was considering my ex (and best friend Sara), but Rachel wasn’t overly keen… besides – Sara is busy doing all my alterations and sewing on some new clothes, and with her being a seamstress that made more sense.
So Kirsty is thrilled at making some extra cash, and I’m thrilled at no longer having to do any chores at home
Which naturally gives me more time to do the things I love and catch up on some of the work that I’m behind on…
Another win win scenario!
Hey – who said outsourcing just had to be for website stuff?
Think about it…
I can make more writing and sending this email that it will cost me for Kirsty to sort through the vacuuming, dusting, ironing, cleaning, changing the bedding, doing my dishes and all the other bits involved with household chores.
So it makes sense to pay someone to do the stuff I don’t enjoy allowing me more time to do the things that bring in the ca$h.
Anyway – as you’ll see below I’ve also been building and editing some web pages…

Finally – something EASY every reader will probably want
If you’ve been to my blog lately you will have seen some new banner ads at the bottom of each post…

What’s more it’ll be a new banner each time you refresh the page – so visitors would be exposed to a total of ten top products!
Adding banner images like these has to be the easiest way for any affiliate to make extra mon’ey from visitors to their blogs…

How those blogging pro’s did it was always a hard slog!
What with having to know the html and edit in it, as well as downloading & uploading graphics that contain your correct affiliate link etc.
Yeah – Frightening!
Being honest – I’d rather mess about with code on any of my websites!
They all seem easier to correct when I get things wrong
Yes – I still mess up loads…lol
I just know a lot of people to shout when I do.
