Well another busy ‘offline’ week for me 
Yep – camping again last weekend, same place and another great time in the outdoors with one Sunny day at least…lol
I also picked up my new car last weekend, so I’ve been driving that all over just to get used to trying to drive it slowly! (very hard to do!)
(Rachel hates it – it glues itself to corners and goes like a very fat car…. OK I wanted to say ‘Sh*t Off A Stick’ but wasn’t sure if that term is used in other countries, and I don’t like to use bad language in print either…lol)
I was hoping to email earlier – but time with family and some hassle with a non isp related service that reports spam did cause a few issues Pete and I had to deal with!
I found it hard to believe that someone could cause frustration with delivering our clients emails who wasn’t isp related…..
But hey – it just proves we can’t take our eye off the ball when providing a service! - Thank fully 95% of the grief was handled without any disruption to the service we offer.
But what a hassle having to answer to, and send related proof, dates IP’s etc. to someone who has no power other than to say 2 of their users weren’t happy at receiving an email they couldn’t remember optin in for!”
If you could have seen the complications involved – you’d really know WHY and you’d really want to ENSURE you were using a 3rd party service like WizardResponderPro.com !
We managed to appease all the concerned parties because of the thousands of dollars worth of system we have in place, and the knowledge we’ve gain over the last couple of years of running WizardResponder – but I’ll tell you what…. If someone with a shared host and their own script had the same issues, I guarantee they wouldn’t have a website now!
Seriously – if you’re going to build a list make sure you have a good autoresponder company look after it for you!
Naturally I’d recommend WizardResponder, but there are other good ones out there if we’re too cheap for you 
Anyway – there does seem to be a lot happening this week, so I will try to keep the rest of the email brief and leave you to use your own judgment on what’s worth looking at for YOU and your circumstances
With regard to the subject line:
One Do, One Don’t - Equally Important!
The Do is:
Keep abreast of what is happening with all the latest launches!
As you can learn a lot just from watching. Whether that is How to launch, how to generate buzz, types of emails to send, what salescopy or videos work, and what people are buying etc.
The Don’t is:
Don’t let it all get to you and cause info overload!
Or go spending all your ca$h on everything you see… it wont help to own everything… It only ever helps if you stick to buying products that are going to be of use in the direction you’re moving!
A great analogy would be knowing that we need sun cream to prevent us from burning and causing skin damage…. then buying cases of it just because the salesletter offered you a fantastic deal if you buy today….
If you know you’re coming to the UK for a vacation – you just suffered the equivalent of info overload and wasted your ca$h!
However if you were off to somewhere like Spain – then it would be considered a great investment!
So by all means check out the latest happenings – but keep things in perspective and remember the one do and one don’t

I just wanted to mention another part of the service I think is great!
They send daily alerts which highlighted the fact that I’d completely forgotten the text ads and banner ads I had earned in a couple of TE’s
This meant that I was now told I had around 3000 banners ads to assign and believe it or not over 10,000 text ads still to assign!
If it hadn’t been for TECP – I would never have gotten around to assign those and gaining even more traffic and exposure!

Where to start this week?
Well for a couple of days I was laid up with a nasty tummy bug!
(I won’t go into the details it was horrid!)
OK, that was just couple of days, I did manage to get some work done to…lol
On a more positive note, we’ve had some lovely sunshine, so naturally I’ve been enjoying some beautiful walks feeling the sun on my face.
I’m so glad spring is finally here, or close enough!
As for marketing, I wonder how many would tempted by the latest greatest $2000 product??
Here’s what I wrote in reply to someone mentioning it on my forum at MoreMonthly.com
“What I’ve always found amusing seems obvious to me – but I guess it can’t be to others??????????
Here we have a guy selling a $2k product on how to get the most from your list.
Now bear with me…
He has recently had a massive product called Mass Control.
With Mass Control he had a gazillion affiliates promote it and made millions…..
So presumably he built quite a substantial list from that?????
In which case….. And this is the big question I always come back to
(and not just for Mr. Kern, cos I do think he’s a cool dude)
WHY….Why would he then need another gazillion affiliates to build him another huge list to sell his next product to???
Surely he could Mass Control them all to Buy List Control without having to pay out a bean in affiliate commissions, and wouldn’t that too prove the product was great?

Is it just be that thinks these things?…. hehe”
I have to be honest and admit I did not purchase the product and for all I know it could be the best thing since sliced bread. I’m sure it will be a quality product, but then one would hope so with that ticket price.

* Useful FireFox Add Ons
A little cheating here, I’ve stolen some of this content about the useful Firefox add-ons from a post in the moremonthly forum.
To give credit where it’s due – the thread was started by Morten of NicheBoxes (A site he’s just launched that he’s spent a lot of time making sure provides excellent value to it’s members – so do give him a click)
I’m sure he wont mind me sharing his and some of my most useful addons
So if you use FireFox – do search for some of these and see which might be useful to you

ColorZilla
- This has eyedropper colorpicker, but there’s more to this little gem. For instance you can get it to analyze the colors used in the regular (html) parts of a given homepage. Plus it’s got a fantastic zoom tool.
FoxyProxy Standard
- If you’re ever using proxy-servers for anything, like checking out landing pages for US-only promotions, (or accessing sites where your own IP has been banned ), this one is a must. It’s got tons of setup possibilities, even allowing you to use different proxies for different sites.
LastPass
- Is a centralized, web-based password repository, and the add-on is more or less a must-have if you use the service (it’s free!)
MeasureIt
- A very simple, yet amazing add-on – when activated it simply lets you mark up an area on a web-page, giving you the exact dimensions in pixels of this area.
RankChecker
- really great add-on for anyone doing SEO work. It lets you set up a list of sites with corresponding keywords, and then goes out and checks the search engine position for each.
S3 Firefox Organizer (S3Fox)
- FTP-like add-on for uploading to Amazon S3, and working with the files you’ve got in there. There are a few different S3 add-ons, and this one feels the best for Morten.
SEOBook SEO Toolbar
- another SEO tool, this one directed at examining the current page. Gives rankings in the sarch engines, alexa rank, competition data, IP, whois… you name it – very comprehensive.
Alexa Sparky
- One I do love myself, as it shows the alexa page rank of each page your on in the bottom corner of your screen above your staus bar. Great for knowing if you’re on a high traffic site.
Web Developer
- great toolbar menu when you’re working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc. Far too many features for me to use them all, but chances are, if you need some information about a page you’re creating, you’ll be able to find it in here
SpellBlound
- Spell Checks as you write so you don’t look silly with any misspellings in your blog posts etc.
Pixlr Grabber
- Allows you to grab images and edit them, Very Useful and best checked out for yourself to see what I mean.
CaptureFox
- which films your screen etc. so you can do a tour or make a how to file. (I think you still need something to change the video from an avi file into something smaller for the web, and in the one I tried I cheated and used camtasia to render it… so a useful tool there would come in handy….. any ideas??)

Here’s how I figure it,
Every man and his dog are telling us that we need

And I’m sure it will be FILLED with Heap Loads of info!
Which is great if you have a heap load of employees
to go through it all and implement it….

* Do You Sometimes Want Less?
Here’s something that ties in nicely to getting traffic.
A couple of weeks ago I mentioned my buddy David Congreave
and his Lucid Seo launch.
A one man battle that got him top rankings and heaps of
free traffic from the search engines!
Something anyone could do on their own.
I did have a few people email saying they would
love to study Lucid SEO
(I mean who doesn’t want free traffic?)
But the shear volume of what they would get and the
price for it were a sticking point.
I think David & Roy realise that it’s hard to spend
a lot of money on a, bulging at the seams, home study
course when you know that:
- you’re never going to get round to watching 90% of the videos.
- the teleseminars are all being held at times you can’t attend.
- the live event is in a whole other country.
- and most of the other bonuses you already have in one form or another.
It may look pretty, but spending larger amounts of ca$h when
all you REALLY want to do is read the manual can seem a waste.
So they have put together another option for people
like you (and me too truth be known, I don’t have time to
go through all that stuff!)
They decided to put together a ‘lite’ version.
Something with enough info in it to ensure you
can STILL be confident of muscling your way into the
search engines…
And ‘lite’ enough to bring it in at under $40

How are things? – good I hope,
I’ve had a busy week or so as usual
(I must have been bad in a former life…lol)
Anyways, I wanted to write and offer my opinion on
some new software that’s being promoted by many
of the bigger names…
In a nutshell – I’m not keen and will NOT be buying it!
It’s called Optin Accelerator, and it supposedly build a
massive list for you using the Tell A Friend (TAF)
principles, but taken a little further.
Now I’m sure some gurus will have great success with
it – but here’s my opinion.
Firstly there’s a great techy & legalities review on

If you keep reading after Robert initial post – he actually
details precise terms of service for each of the email
companies – that the script BREAKS too !!!!
Shocking ! - but I’m sure it’ll still do well for some?
My personal take is this though….
I would never consider allowing any script to grab my
contact lists from any of my email addresses !!
For one thing, Why do they seem to think that
everyone with a computer might be interested in
whatever money making scheme/site/program
they are promoting?????
I have my kids and social friends who have NO
interest in IM on my lists… and I’m sure they
would get pretty annoyed if they kept getting
emails (supposedly from me) telling them of
the latest site I filled a form it at!
In IM it’s far too easy to think the world revolves
around making money online, whereas some people
do have lives outside of IM …lol
Another point as to why I’ve never been keen on any
sort of TAF script:
IF – I subscribe and then go on to make a purchase
from a site – it’s rare that there would not be an
affiliate program….
Therefore – IF (and ONLY after) I have had chance to
go through the info I bought, I happen to think it is
of value…..
They why oh why would I fill in the TAF prior to all
the checking …. only to discover I’d like to recommend
the product but have no one left to refer….
because they all joined the marketers list via the TAF.
Therefore I’m losing potential commissions if I do like
the product AND I’m losing credibility if I don’t by
sending my contacts to the site of a product I end
up believing is crap !
Catch22 – easy solution — forget the TAF OR fill it
with fake or my own spare emails!
Feel free to make up your own mind, I just feel honour
bound to give what I believe to be best advice to anyone
I consider a friend or valued contact…
On Another level –
When I tried the $7 script on one product it came
installed with the TAF script….
After nearly 1000 sales, the TAF had sent out
54 emails … I wonder how many of those were legit?….
and how many ran to the site to make a purchase?
So from that point of view – it didn’t work as people
are lead to believe anyway.
So that’s my tuppence worth – and NO LINK due to
my beliefs and opinions!

*A Rant about my Mind Movie, Neg Heads and some Advice
Straight into it then,
I’m ‘Peed’ off and want to invite any ‘Dream Stealers’ or
‘Neg Heads’ to Leave my List!
I know that’s probably not you
You know I don’t actually know how to get into a sensible
discussion here – the guy really annoyed me.
So I hope you bear with with a second or two…
From my witing style you probably know I just sit here and
type as I chat (sort of thing)…..
Well basically here’s my issue:-
I spent some time and effort making my ‘Mind Movie’
(which if you haven’t see it – is on this blog)
It has a review of the package I bought along with my
attempt to ‘Influence my subconscious’ through the ‘Law
of Attraction’ by watching a movie of what I want to have and
achieve.
Some people aren’t into ‘that stuff’ and others are -
FREE choice, I see no harm in it as long as you take
action.
Anyway, if anyone visited the link to
the package, they’d know what it’s all about.
So then this person comes along and accuses me of
‘Bragging‘ about my life and says I’ve ‘wasted his
time’ showing off my possessions (I wish – one day)
and calling everyone else stupid!
DUH ! — If he’d read the review and the principles of the
‘Law of Attraction’ he might have had a clue!
I then answered the post and tried to email to explain what
it’s all about – only to find he’d used a false email and
domain to make the post…… Grrr…
That really peed me off —- There he is accusing ME of
wasting HIS time, when I’m trying to help — and he has
just wasted a load of mine !!!!
The reason I’m ranting about this is
because I want to warn you that there (unfortunately) are
people like him in the world.
Jealous and bitter when someone seems to be doing well, and
instead of wanting to aspire to something good
themselves -
**They Rather Drag Everyone Down To Their Level **
So here’s my warning and advice for you…. Focus on the
Good people you know, The ones that want you to
succeed and do well….and just blot out of your mind the
“dream stealers and neg heads” who want to drag you
down.
They will never change and will be of no use whatsoever to
society, they are just an inconvenience, and I’d rather not
have them on my lists.
I know that sounds harsh – but believe me – you can’t
change them only some higher power (depending on your
beliefs) can ever alter their thinking.
I came across it often in my sales career – people who
would try to sabotage someone elses sales in order to
make theirs look acceptable! — Instead of just trying to
work Up to a similar level.
They always ended up failing, then insisting on dragging as
many people down with as they could (obviously
didn’t want to feel lonely in the gutter)
It does seem to be a trait that is nutured by the media
(here in the uk – not sure about the rest of the world)
When someone does well – the media puts them up on a
pedestal……. once there – it seems like open season for
knocking them and finding dirt to pull them right back down
again.
IF ONLY
If only they would focus on getting everyone up onto the
same pedestal — Surely that would lead to better lives
for all ?
I wanted to carry on here – but I’ve realised this could
go on for hours…lol
So maybe I’ll continue another time.
The conclusion of my continuation would have been that I
have friends who are very successfull, and they have
remained friends because even when I’ve been broke – I was
never jealous of their success, and always wished
them more of it.
I wanted to get back up there – not drag them down.
So I hope you have similar views. And if not – then maybe
this is a list you dont want to be on!
Like I said, I’m sure that wouldn’t apply to you,
But for any new people on my Rambles lists I
just wanted to be clear.
**I want all of us to be successfull and rise to greater
heights together…… I don’t want anyone pulling us
down.**
We’ll undoubtably all find different routes to where we
want to be, and that’s fine. So long as we all wish each
other well on our seperate journeys and hope to see
everyone arrive!
Okay, enough of that, or you’ll think I’m lecturing…lol
Back to my Mind Movie – I hope you had chance to check it
out (or even watched it a few times)…. and I’d love
your feedback… I’ve had some great comments on YouTube
and would appreciate you adding yours

*Progress on my latest Report
Just a quick update,
The 2 projects I mention a while back – well one is nearly
done… (I say nearly cos I keep thinking of more to add…lol)
There’s plenty left to do in terms of graphics and
salespage etc… but the actual product is getting close.
I’ll want a couple of reviews soon – so if you want to
know whay you may be struggling with ‘Positive Thinking’
and ‘The Law of Attraction’ or even just ‘Goal Setting’
and would like to review my report – do drop me a line.
I should have been further along – but (as ever) I seem to
have got waylaid…lol

Here’s a cracking deal, but you’ll have to be quick.
I keep going on about planetsms forum, and I know it’s
beyond some people means.

And I mean ‘Big Time Respected’ Experts.
Last I looked he has around 952 new members – and is doing

Personally – I think it will get too busy to want to browse
all the posts -
*BUT*
The value of the advice form each expert is tremendous.
I have joined and read a good few of their posts… trust
me you’ll gain big time from their knowledge and advice.
Take a look and grab yourself a place — seriously you wont regret it.

*One to Avoid
Well briefly,
If you get any of the ‘Guru’ emails promoting a high
ticket ‘Traffic course’ and it mentions Carlos &
Lupe….
Just take a look at the dates in their video!
What worked over 2 years ago is not (in my opinion) worth
paying out big ca$h for today!
What’s more – a little research shows some very negative
facts on the whole thing, involving the FTC – the
amount of time their site was up etc. etc.
Do your own research, and avoid being
taken for a ride.
I didn’t want to get into the whole thing as this post is
getting way too long as usual…lol
So as long as you think twice before parting with your hard
earned ca$h…. ok
