It’s a beautiful day here in Northern England,
Enough to put a smile on anyones face 
I’m not sure Pete is smiling though – he’s been
up to his eyeballs testing and adjusting WizardResponder.
Other than trying to ensure everything is all working
correctly, I’ve not done a lot myself on anything either!
So Fingers crossed 
And I sincerely hope your week is going a lot better
than Pete’s
In my post today – You’ll find a bit of a Rant, but I hope
you see the lesson it contains, as I feel it is a very important
one for anyone marketing online.

* Thank you (multiple times – but just once I hope)
First Up – I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone
who has been emailing me and letting me know about
the multiple message issue with Wizard.
Yes – I did know already as I subscribe to all my
lists to ensure I know when my emails have been delivered.
However...
The fact that so many people took time out of their day to
email me and let me know really impressed me.
It proves that I have some really great people who actually
care on my lists, and that makes helping people all the
more satisfying to me!
It also puts their names into my mind, and I’m one of those
people who doesn’t forget – so when the day comes that they
need help with a promotion or simply just some advice -
You can bet I’ll remember who they are.
And that, as simple as it was for them to type an email, is all
that’s really needed to start building strong relationships with
people. And relationships with other marketers can make a massive
difference to each of our success stories!
So there is a lesson there in building relationships, something
I’ve often commented on.

(My Rant)
I do have to admit that not all my subscribers were
quite as understanding about the multiple emails.
In fact – I did lose some who thought it too much trouble
to mass delete my emails, and therefore chose to unsub.
That in itself presented another glitch in the ‘clicky’ to
remove themselves seemed to be only working randomly.
(Don’t ask me why…lol – Pete is working on it!)
But again – I even had a polite email from one asking if
I would remove her, which naturally I did manually.
Simple really – hit reply and type please remove me from
your lists Randy.
Like this one:

Goes to a 404 page each time I try.
Please take care of this for me when you can.

Well that seemed nice enough to me, and I can tell you
that if that lady ever rejoins my lists and asks for
help – she will also be remembered as someone I have no
problem helping.
Here’s what I actually replied:
Hi XXXXXX,
I have deleted you from all the lists you were on.
Sorry to see you go – but thank you for politely asking.
(I say that due to the rude and capitalised email
I got from one subscriber who thinks it’s unforgivable
of me to have a glitch!)
We are working on the 404 error and the scheduler glitch,
so I too hope it’s all sorted soon.
Anyway – Good luck in whatever you’re currently working
on, and do feel free to pop by my blog and resub anytime
you think I may be able to help

HOWEVER:
I have had two people whom I’ve manually deleted who will
be remembered in other ways.
i.e. – I wouldn’t want to waste any of my time even reading
their emails or proposals, evben if they offered me 200% commission!
Because I think they didn’t give any thought to how they aksed
to be removed, OR to the fact that I am also a member of the human
race, and therefore have feelings too!
To accuse someone of sp@m – when they opted in of their own free will
and obviously don’t know how the term is defined….
Or to SHOUT AND USE CAPITALS whilst being abusive…

It’s one of those embarrassing moments – During
the upgrade to WizardResponder we found a fault
and it’s being looked into… meanwhile I have heaps
of emails from people asking why I keep sending the
same email…lol

Had you bothered to read the message – then you would
have known why you received it so many times!
You would also have seen my profound apologies.
You may also have considered how many freebies I give to
people on my list and the value I genuinely try to
provide – especially compared to some of the so called gurus!
Yes – it was unprofessional… But software does go
wrong and people make mistakes, In fact in any endeavour
where human beings are involved there are always errors.
Some apologise for their errors, others don’t care.
I chose to apologise, however I don’t expect everyone to
accept the apology.
That said – I also don’t feel that anyone who has accepted
all my freebies for any length of time has justification for
saying I’m harassing them when I’ve clearly tried to
explain the glitch!
I do however welcome any unsubscribe from people who don’t
have the patience to bear with me through a nightmare
scenario for me or to accept an apology when I admit I was
at fault and let down my some software.
So thanks for the capital letters and for unsubscribing
from my list, and thanks for providing a great example of
how not to build strong relationships with people who may
one day have been able to JV or promote you and your sites.
It’ll make a good blog post for me <- which may be a final
example of how to take something negative and look for ways
of turning into something positive.
I genuinely am sorry that your attitude would seem to be
one of finding fault rather than living with passion and
enjoying everything life has to offer, but I guess I can’t
convince everyone how great life really is.

Broken link again… ooops – but fear not he was manually
removed before I received the email, so I’ve not replied again.
So let me ask you again – who do you think is most likely to
succeed and get help at anytime in the future from me?
Those who choose to shout and get nasty – or those who
understand that we’re not all perfect, and do make mistakes?
Those who gripe at having 20 seconds wasted of their day, in
having to mass delete a bunch of emails… or those who take
extra time out of their day to help and notify someone of a fault?
It all boils down to A) Building Strong Relationships with people.
And B) Your Attitude Towards Others and Life in General!
If those two things are right – other things will fall into place!
Trust me on that, and do bear in mind (as some don’t actually realise)
I do have a good mnumber of friends online, who can help people and
who come to me when they need help or advice.
Just like I once did offline, I have, (and do) advised people with
lists and businesses that are many times bigger than mine!

A bit of a squished in message today
I wasn’t planning on writing anything til the weekend,
However – I did need to test V2.0 of Wizard,
just for my own peace of mind that it’s all working smoothly.
Update
We are having a teething problem with the scheduler which
is being looked at as I write!
And I wanted to be sure to give you the same deal I got
from James Penn for his new report, that I think is great!
(Unfortunately – it ends on the 16th – hence my rush)

Well finally… I am thrilled, excited and extremely happy

barring the final checks and teething issues.
Pete has finished the migration of existing subscribers, and
also completed all the redirections of everything that

(Does that show how non techy I am?…lol)
Frankly, I haven’t a clue about 70% of what Pete has had to do.
All I know is he has completed it all with just a few more hours
of finding the last glitch to sort
That did take him months of work and planning, with a fair few
challenges along the way.
But he has overcome almost all the niggles, and we are now left with a
much improved service, that still has all the major benefits we
did have.
In both the delivery of your emails, as well as the very sensible
pricing structure.
But now we also have a bunch of new features, benefits and
techy gizmo’s that rank us right up there with some who
charge more than double what we do!
If you’ve been on holiday, or for whatever other reason you still

Moving on before I get too excited about Wizard
Part of the reason for sending this right now, was to
tell you about James Penn’s latest offering.
Again – it’s a product that I am happy to recommend at it’s
full price… BUT,… well you know what I’m like, I love a bargain

Happy Easter Weekend to you and yours.
I hope you are spending some time with loved ones
regardless of your beliefs!
I’ve just got in from an outdoor activity day.
My ex, Sara, and I took Cameron to Carlton Lodge
for the day. Where we climbed mountains (ok high walls),
went canoeing and kayak’ing, and squeezed in an assault
course too!
Loads of fun except that my backside is soaking wet still
(better than Cam – he was totally submerged
and is in the bath now..lol)
It’s certainly somewhere we will go again, but earlier
to take in more of the activities on offer!
Fun times all round (and that’s what life should be isn’t it?)
Oh – while I think about it – here are a couple of decorated egg
pictures, Cameron did these a few years back, and I think about
the Dalek one every Easter now – as I thought it was brilliant…lol

That said – Anton is still testing various
niches with it and getting great results.
Those will be available soon as I’ll write

I’ve also got Mark Orr of www.maopublishing.com
looking at sorting some video tutorials for us
to ensure the whole system is really easy to follow.
His comments after reading a draft of the ebook were…
that it should be easily done with just 4 or 5
‘under 5 minute’ videos, as it’s such a simple system
to use!
So it’s all looking good – but a little more time is
needed purely due to my other commitments.

I hope you’re having a productive week
(and also that you didn’t get caught out with
too many April fools jokes on the 1st)
I would have loved to have sent one – but I’ve honestly
been too busy trying to juggle a house move, work, and
my social life (I even fitted in a hour or so interview
today, where a big name interviewed ME! hehe – you’ll hear
about that mid May I think)
In fact I’m sitting here writing this after midnight
with a sore backside due to sitting on a temporary wooden
stool…..lol
Half my stuff is over at the new place and the rest is
still here (I got let down with a van I was supposed to be
borrowing)…. but hey – sometimes we have challenges to
overcome right
I do seem to have had a share of them with some more to come
over the next few weeks, but you don’t need all the small details….
The main thing to take from it is that I do recognise
that WE ALL get challenges!
It’s how we face them that can affect the outcome – so I’m
keeping it positive knowing that it’ll all be good in the long term!
Sometimes when we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel – we
have to have faith that if we just “keep on keeping on” it’ll all
work itself out… I do – and it usually does – so I hope it does
for you too if you’re currently working through any!
So before anyone says they saw the light and it was just an oncoming train…

* Earning Money Online Isn’t As Easy As Some Say!
(Recommendation)
I thought I’d start this week with a recommendation,
a solution to some big blogging challenges, and
at the same time get myself into a little trouble…lol
(‘cos we’re not supposed to admit online stuff can be hard!)
You see it does get to me sometimes how many people are
taken in by the shear volume of ‘pitches’ that tell us
how ‘Easy’ this is all supposed to be!
Don’t be fooled when people tell you that making
money online is easy.
It never is, and never will be!
If it were really that easy, why is it that 95 out of
100 people fail miserably when they try to make
money online?
We’ve all seen the screenshots of fake earnings those
“pretend-gurus” put up on their websites simply for the
sake of convincing you that they make tons of money
online and yeah we’ve seen the real ones who already have
huge lists and do make it (but how often do we see the
overnight successes they speak of?)
So You and I need to be wary these days.
In other words – should we believe it’s all so easy?
Yeah right, we are supposed to!
This myth could not be further from the truth.
To really be able to make it online, just like
any endeavour, we need to put in conscientious effort
and hard word first before you can see any results.
Hey – I had 5 years of failing before I started making
anything regular!
You need the basic foundations first, just like a baby
who’s trying to learn how to walk.
Learn how to earn $10 first before wanting to earn $100.
Learn how to make $100 first before dreaming to make $1000.
I hope this is making sense?
Hence my recommendation today…
I would say I came across this site by accident, but that
would be a lie!
Welly actually contacted me and asked if I would take a
look at his product, And yes – let me be up-front with you.
This site is trying to sell you something.
But hey, isn’t everyone?
With that said, let me now tell you how different this
site is, and why I am happy to recommend it.
Welly actually tells you straight to your face that
making money online is hard. He doesn’t promise you
instant riches with no work.
Instead, He firmly believes that in order to start
succeeding online you need to work hard and smart.
I mean, can you get more and up-front than that?
What I love about this product is that it does actually
leave nothing to guesswork.
He gives 5 different pdf’s to be read in a specific order.
Nice and easy to follow along with so anyone can benefit
from the simple instructions in getting going with blogging!
(Sidenote – don’t most marketers use blogs these days to
link to their salespages?)

Speaking of meeting up with other marketers…
I’ve sorted my ticket to the UK’s event of the year
I’m off to Bristol in May 7th – 10th to attend Robert Puddy’s
LFMpire Builders Seminars.
So I’ll be mingling with some new people I’ve never seen as
well as meeting up and getting ridiculously drunk with some old friends
There’s a whole line up of big named speakers to learn from, but
more importantly – there will be a lot of people I already know and
some I don’t who will be getting Acquainted and re-acquainted in the bars
every evening of the event.
It’s seriously like finding a two headed coin!
You just can’t lose…
You get to learn from people at the top of their game…
AND - you get to trade phone numbers with a whole bunch of people
who you can set up JV’s with in future!
If you’re free those dates in May do consider it:
(Even if your not – pull a sicky) <- Joke, I wouldn’t
encourage anyone to be dishonest.
I know I’m really looking forward to it and would love to
meet up with you there if you can go…
What’s more – when I went in 2007 I paid 5 times the price of this
years ticket (The world slump seems to have played in our favour on this!)
And even at the price I paid back then, I can honestly say that
I made my ca$h back from the JV’s and contacts it got me…
That’s why so many do encourage people to go to these events – just
don’t be a wallflower, talk to people!

I nearly forgot to add a note/update about The Guru Bypass System!
How unbelievable would that have been…lol
Anton is raring to go and let this system loose, but I keep
wanting to add more to it – we both want it to be the best
product it can be for helping little guys get some cash made instead
of constantly spending it and still struggling.
I’m so excited that Anton initially shared this with me – but I
do wonder if he regrets doing so sometimes….lol
Every time he thinks it’s ready – I remind him of more of the back
office stuff that has to be sorted when launching a product…
