It’s happened again hasn’t it?
We blinked and another month is practically over!
I can hardly believe where the time goes these days,
That said, don’t waste yours…. do check the section titles
and feel free to scroll through, and I know not all of the
sections will be of use to you.
(So much for my attempt to keep things in short chunks ..lol)
Oh, and before I get started, I wanted to give you a silly smile 
I was just at the back door having a cigarette and noticed the
weather here. We’ve had it blustery and showery for a few days now.
As I gazed at the fine blanket of rain that you would hardly notice
unless you stared, I thought to myself …
“Oooh – it’s that ‘Wet Rain’ again!” …. Then Smiled!
I don’t know how many times I’ve laughed at that statement, but
it amuses me every time..
I hope you know what I mean by it – that rain that is near
invisible – but soaks you to the skin before you realise it’s
even raining.
I think the term was inherited from my parents or grandparents,
and I guess I’m wondering if you say ‘daft’ things like that too?
‘That Wet Rain’ – as if there is any rain that isn’t wet! …LOL
OK – you’re now either staring at your screen in disbelief and
scratching your head wondering why you’re even reading this…
OR
You’re smiling at how many times you may have heard similar
comments within your family or friends…
Either way – I suppose I should get on
Oh – before I do, I’ll be moving house again first week of April,
but I’ll update you on that next time, as I’m hoping it will be
a lot smoother move and with no loss of connection this time around.

First up – I mentioned last time that I had finally
given in to the constant shouts of people saying we
should all be on twitter.
Well it’s very early days yet – but already I’ve learnt a
valuable lesson and want to pass on some important advice
and freebies.
First the advice:
The first thing you might want to do if you are going to get,
or have already got a twitter account, is this:
Go to Robert Planks blog and watch the video:
He shows you how to set up a free application called Tweet Later
(Talk about a useful app!)
This will save you a LOT of hours you might otherwise have wasted
messaging each and every follower you get.
I kid you not I was ready to delete my account at the thought of
sending everyone a message. I have over 200 followers already, and naturally,
I would think it rude not to follow them back… So I’m glad I came across
Roberts video and implemented it.
Also – here is a link for some more twitter stuff.
It’s all free (love the price) from David Cheyne.
No Opting in or anything.
All you do is add your twitter name & password and the software
‘Tweets’ about it. David get’s you as a follower and you get taken
straight to the download links.
A novel way to gain followers – and you can add your name too.

but as a way to gain more exposure free it seems to be worth a go

A little copywriting advice for you now .
Naturally this one only applies if you have a sales letter online.
Without getting into the whole mumbo jumbo of the psychology
involved, I’ll come straight to the point.
Have you noticed how all the top marketers have a signature
image on the bottom of their letters?
Instead of signing:

You’ll see something like my sig seen here:
The reason is because it’s a simple fact that -
A hand written signature adds more power to your sales letter!
Further to that – testing has shown that a blue signature
generates more response from the readers than any other colour.
Hence, why I have a blue signature on most of my salesletters
Here’s the thing.
I know most people can’t afford to just go straight out and get
a signature made when they are starting out – it’s just yet
another added expense!
The alternative is usually to try and find a font that
looks OK and will do until you get around to it…
Well here’s your second freebie/useful link today:

If you go to that page and click on proceed.
Then click on Using wizard and again on the wizard link.
You’ll then be able to Enter your name and follow the pages
to choose font, colour, size etc. Until you have a signature
graphic.
Then either complete their instruction – or do it this way:
Right Click and save image as,
Save to desktop
Then rename the image to whatever is easy for you to remember.
From here on in you can just add it as an image to your salesletters
whenever you want to look more professional – and all at zero outlay 
If you’re wondering how come I found this and mentioned it -
It’s because I’ve been working hard along with Anton on
getting a salespage written for ‘The Guru Bypass System’,
and I need to add his sig to the page.
It’s not quite there yet – but it’s close, and Anton is
doing a heap more testing this weekend.
Rest assured, once we’re close to having a draft completed
I will let you know as we’ll need some feedback and testimonials.
And this time around I figured we’d do a very special offer
for every one on my lists instead of just getting more experienced

It’s being given by Jennifer aka PotPieGirl in order to help
promote her product ‘One Week Marketing’
The guide in itself is well worth grabbing if you’ve ever
wondered about building a squidoo lens in order to get into google!
However – on this I want to go a little further, I have actually
shelled out $47 on her course for two reasons:
1) because she was highly recommended by one of the guys who attends
my Northallerton Meet Ups, and with a face to face recommendation it
had to be worth a look!
and 2) because I have been checking out anything that claims to
allow the reader to build an income from no money down, as part
of my research for Anton and my upcoming new product.
Long story short - after reading through the 5 pdf’s that come in
the package, I had already decided to add it to my list of keepers
and recommend it at some point.
It’s very well written and I love Jennifers laid back style of writing.
Now only does she give a step by step with detailed instruction of
something she actively does to rake in thousands.
But my favourite part is the pdf called ‘A conversation with Nick’
Where she has pasted a complete conversation of messages back and forth
between her and a subscriber who has followed her teachings.
This conversation was actually the basis of the product, and I love how
we can see for ourselves exactly what she had Nick do every step of the way.
It’s like spying on someone who has paid a fortune to be coached
and mentored from nowhere to making money…
and we get to see the whole thing
I’m very impressed with the quality of the product, everything about
it basically – definitely one I would happily tell family and friends
to invest in! (Hence why I’m telling you)
Normally I would promote the freebie and allow Jennifer to ‘pitch’
the product herself…BUT
Right after I paid the $47, read through it, and thought about
promoting it… A MoreMonthly.com forum member recommended it
and mentioned that Jennifer has a special on it til 1st April!
Typical – I could have saved HALF!
Anyway – I’m not griping, I got great value for money, and I will
promote it in future – However… I’ve since been and registered as
an affiliate and asked about the discount.

A Happy St. Patricks Day today to those who like a Guinness

I sincerley hope you’ve had a great weekend,
I spent most of mine with Rachel, we took in a movie
(Shrooms – not one I’d recommend unless you want to
put your kids off trying magic mushrooms,
it’s a great anti drugs ad…lol)
So now it’s back to work
I’m sitting writing this when I have so much more
I should be doing, but I did want to update you on the UFA
performance before the discount is over.
And that gave me chance to stick in a couple of useful
‘how to’s’ that I’ve been wanting to send…
So my messages are a bit like the UK buses just now…
Nothing for a fortnight then 2 at once…lol
(I don’t know if that’s just a Brit thing with the buses?
But it always seems to work that way when you’re waiting for them!)

* How To Get Into Your ‘Locked’ Blog.
This first ‘How To’ is courtesy of Dan over at D9 Hosting
It came about because I seem to have a problem with some of
the plugins I have on my blog.
Every once in a while something goes wrong – and my log in
details cease to work!
This was a constant frustration, as I was always having to
submit a support ticket to Dan & Paula.
(It has to be said that they never left me more than an hour
or so before they fixed it for me)….
BUT, I wanted to know How to fix it myself!
Eventually I got around to asking Dan and he sent me the
instructions… It was so simple to follow I was amazed.
That said – following them took me to parts and places I’d
never seen before, and in reality – If I had to do this from memory ..
I would be totally lost!
So here’s what Dan said to do, AND it was so easy I was gobsmacked!
(Is Gobsmacked a word for all my readers or just here in
the North of England?)
So – If you are, one day, suddenly locked out of
your WP Admin and don’t know what happened,
You may wish to try this:

Go to your cpanel then follow these instruction…
1. Log into PHPMYAdmin from your cPanel
2. Click on the YourUserName_wrdp1 database down the left hand side.
3. Click on the wp_options link that will appear down the left hand side
4. Click the “Browse” tab
5. On the 2nd page look for a field called “active_plugins” under the
option_name heading and then click on the pencil icon to the left of it
6. Remove all the text from the “option_value” white box and click “Go”.
And you are done!
The text to remove will look something like this:
a:4:{i:0;s:19:”akismet/akismet.php”;i:1;s:16:”sem-dofollow.php”
;i:2;s:35:”sociable/tool-man/coordinates.cache”;i:3;s:30:
“sociable/images/yahoomyweb.old”;}
Then go back to your admin login and hey presto – it’ll work
Now you just need to go back to your admin, login and then go
to the plugins menu and re-activate the ones you want to use.
Job Done!

* How To Profit From PLR
This post came about due to a discussion over at
MoreMonthly private forum.
Members have had a heated debate on a recent launch of
some PLR products.
The main thrust of the debate was the fact that so many
people seem to grab a costly PLR product, thinking it will
make them loads of Ca$h…. only to discover that within DAYS
every Tom, Dick & Harry are selling them ‘as is’ for pennies
on the dollar.
At this point others either give up, and their expensive
purchase sits on their hard drive never to be opened again…
OR
They join the bandwagon and stick them up quickly and try to
make a few dollars back by selling them as is – just the same
as everyone else.
So why should you consider using PLR?
(Because they can be Very, Very profitable! – both in terms of
ca$h AND in building your lists!)
Private Label Rights (PLR) are used by some of the top
internet entrepreneurs to quickly create products with
very little investment of time or capital.
Unfortunately, most internet entrepreneurs who have heard
about PLR, make very little money with it. Instead of
following a profitable plan, they run around in circles
like a dog chasing its tail just as mentioned above!
Here’s why:
PLR products are completely customizable. Whether it’s
an ebook, a piece of software, or a graphics package,
you have complete control over the content.
It’s the same as if I write an ebook for you and then give it
to you and let you put your name on it and take all the
credit for the content as if it’s yours.
It’s fast, it’s simple and it’s completely legal.
So why doesn’t everyone do it?
Because it takes some work, (There’s the biggy) it’s a
very minimal amount of work, but it is work.
Most people are chasing get rich quick schemes so
their impression of a successful PLR business is to buy
lots of PLR products, stick them on a website and sell
them to other people who do the same.
It doesn’t take very long until the market is saturated with
the same PLR products on all the PLR websites. And then the
average entrepreneur says, “PLR products don’t work.â€
Meanwhile,
The entrepreneurs who have actually opened the zip file
that the PLR product came in are making money hand
over fist, because they took the time to customize the product
and introduce it to the market as their own.
Here’s how simple it is:
1. Edit the ebook and add some of your own content.
Add your own personal style and charm to the product.
Then add your name as the author. (Not forgetting to add
your own ‘Resource Section’ with links to your, or
affiliate products).
2. Personalize the graphics or have a graphic designer
do it for you.

No affy links there – just good resources and great people!
3. Edit the sales letter and again add your own style and
character to it – for more help grab www.SalesLetterABC.com
When you’ve got the product complete, you can
1. Publish your website and send traffic to it.
So you sell it as a stand alone product.
Not forgetting to use one as a freebie to build your
list with www.WizardResponder.com
2. If you embed affiliate links into it, you can give
it away as a freebie. When your reader’s click on your
affiliate links, you get paid.
3. You can use them as a tool for your affiliates and
allow them to re-brand the product with their affiliate
links to your products.
4. You can turn the written ebook into an audio and sell
it as an audio ebook which adds value to the package.
5. You can strip the book down and turn it into articles.
6. You can add a workbook to it and market it as a course.
And more…
Now just for comparison, let’s look at what it would cost to
have your own ebook written.
Costs $200 – $500 for a good 50 page ebook using a ghost writer
Graphics for a website including affiliate marketing
pieces $150 – $250
Sales letter – $750 – $5,000
In real costs, you’re looking at $1,100 – $1,950.
That’s still good because you save a huge amount of time
and all the heavy lifting is done for you. You don’t have to
take care of all the intricate details of writing and designing.
And coming from someone who’s both written my own ebooks & used PLR,
I know just how much effort can be saved if you can get a PLR product
is both useful and in restricted supply.

as you for pennies, And if you’re reading this post before March 22,

OK ,
Here’s the main reason for posting this today
I promoted UFA (Ultimate Footer Ads) in my last email,
and on my blog.

In the last post I told you how much I liked the ‘Unobtrusive’ way
they slid up at the bottom of the page, and how I thought they still
did a great job of catching the readers attention – without distracting
from reading the content.
I also showed you that I had already added one to my blog.
(It’ll be there at the bottom of the page if you look down)
Well here’s an update I’m thrilled to mention:
I seem to have been 100% Right in my assumptions
Prior to adding the UFA to my blog – it was getting me an average
of 2 – 3 new subscribers a day.

An action packed Ramble for you today…
Has it really been a couple of weeks since my last post?..
Crikey! – shows how busy we all get….lol
But hey – I have to admit to being busy with both
online work AND offline socialising
Well I do keep telling you:
Life = Live it, Love it and Pass on the Passion!
And hey – I’m serious….
What’s the point in anything if everything is either
boring or a chore?
I agree we all have our chores to do – but surely they
should be leading to more fun!
Oh and before I get on – a quick thanks for all the
emails and feedback about the pictures I’ve been including.
I’ve found a few more that I’m including today – not all sweet,
but you’ll see why I included them for each section.
Anyway – on with the marketing Ramble…

I’ve added that image as it perfectly covers my next comments.
You’ll undoubtedly be getting emails already telling you
about Mike Filsaime’s latest greatest must have….
In fact – you get it all free (or so they say!)
Well from what I’ve discovered, it probably is a great deal IF
If you really want and need Butterfly Marketing, and are willing
to enter into yet another forced continuity subscription for a
magazine costing $40 a month (credit card only- no paypal).
If I seem a little off’ish – that’ll be due to the number of
forum posts I’ve seen from people UNsuccessfully trying to
cancel their subscriptions from last time he did a similar promo.
That said – just because it goes against my principles - I know
Mike Filsaime will be pitching it ethically.
And straight away I would say if you get an email like one I had
where the marketer concerned just said
“click here to claim a gift”
Then lo and behold I’d been cookie stuffed so he could win a prize!!!
I would be sure to delete any cookies before I opted into anything!
(I personally thought it rather devious!)
On the other hand – John Thornhill over at planetsmsblog.com has
clearly stated he will be promoting it – but I would bet my bottom dollar
it will be a useful and value added post in which he does.
So – as suggested in the image…
If you want to check out the butterflies – pop over to John’s blog,
or see what bonuses others are offering and choose wisely.
DON’T – get cookie stuffed by trickery!

Mike Filsaimes Office – so in the spirit of fair play I thought I’d

To that I would add that if the issue is with the image – What I meant
by the image was that I was sending My readers and subscribers to
John Thorhills Blog, as he would be better placed than i to advise
about using the Butterfly script.
I was in no way suggesting that MF should send his customers elsewhere!
His products are all good quality products, my rant was aimed at the tactics
employed by some of his affiliates!
I hope that has cleared that up

OK, Here’s one I am happy to help promote!

If you’re anything like me, we know and understand the
importance of building our lists…. BUT
I can only speak for myself here when I say – I do get annoyed at
many of the various pop up type scripts I come across.
Well, they always seem to pop in just when I’m trying to read
the salespage and make me lose my place.
So much so that I often close them just to continue reading and
that marketer missed their chance to get me to join their list!
Are you the same to any degree?
Well let me show you Graham’s new one.
It’s called the “Ultimate Footer Ad” and it’s more than just a pop up!
It can be used as an optin box or a clickable ad…
Rather than try and explain it all, I’ll just say that due to having
met Graham in person and keeping in touch, I was asked to take a look.
Here’s what I sent him back as feedback:
Hi Graham,
I thought you’d appreciate my feedback on Ultimate Footer Ad.
First off – I’m impressed that I was able to use it…lol
I know that sounds daft – but I do keep telling people I hate
techy stuff, and I really do, I’m hopeless at times…lol.
In terms of my first thoughts and reactions after seeing
it installed:
I like the look of it. The way it slides up and catches
the eye and then the animated graphics drawing the eyes
for a closer look…. I love that!
I also tested the optin box – which works fine with the
optin form code for my autoresponder Wizard Responder
After seeing the confirm page open in a new window which
again was very pleasing not drawing visitors away from my site!
And a nice touch with the optin changing to a thank you
message – that was cool What I like best is that it’s at
the bottom of the page so it does not stop people from
reading my content and even going back to where they
were after seeing the ad.
Having the choice to close it if they wish, – I’m sure
even die hard folks against pop ups would find that
unobtrusive!
I think that has to be one of the best points and why
people should use UFA. Unlike so many pop up’s /overs/flyin’s,
UFA really is unobtrusive – but at the same time it does
exactly what it’s supposed to do – draw the eyes of the
reader and increase optins and clicks of the ad shown!
So yeah – great job Graham… I can see me using it on
all my sites at some point – it’s definitely my favourite
form of pop up type ad now…
That also goes for Pete, my techy partner, who has already
told me he will be buying the second you launch!
Thanks for the opportunity to test UFA Graham, and for
coming up with a quality method of unobtrusive advertising.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who
has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was,
since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the
worm; Life isn’t always fair; and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more
than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in
charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy
charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended
from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for
reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly
children. It declined even further when schools were required to get
parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student;
but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted
to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses;
and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a
burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in
her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death by his
parents Truth and Trust, by his wife Discretion his
daughter, Responsibility, and his son Reason.
He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;
1.)Â I Know My Rights.
2.)Â I Want It Now.
3.)Â Someone Else Is To Blame.
4.)Â I’m A Victim.
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
If you still remember him, pass this on.
If not, join the majority and do nothing.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy
enough people to make it worth the effort.

Well that’s me about done for today
Before I go I did want to mention that my WizardResponder partner,
Pete, has been working his fingers off getting some really exciting
updates to our autoresponder service installed.
So much so that we will be moving to version 2.0 once all the pieces
are fully tested and in place.
However – it’s caused him so much stress that I found an image I
thought might remind him that things could be worse:

At least nothing has broke – but some of the stuff he’s making WizardResponder
capable of in the next version deserve a major price increase…
And I’ve already told him we should keep it at less than half the competition
because people like it that way…. so no pay rise for Pete

Also – I’m working frantically with another old friend and subscriber on
completing testing and writing up a report of a new system to get
your products in front of people, downloaded onto their desktop,
and get them clicking your links to make you more ca$h and
build your lists.
I still think it’s weeks, not days away – but when it’s released it’s gonna be big!
(Well it might be small if we avaoid filler) -
I mean big in terms of helping people and levelling the field even more…
So do keep your eyes open for ‘The Guru Bypass System’
coming to an inbox near you soon!
I’ve already told Anton (who’s concept we’ve developed) that
I will be wanting to put a great pre-launch deal in my email,
as it seems only right and proper to look after the people who
look after me… so you will be getting a fantastic deal of a
fantastic product once it’s done if you’re a subscriber!

Who was desperate to release right away – until he partnered up with me
and I insisted we test his amazing system in all markets, and add more

First day of March already!
Part of me is sad that time is moving along at such a quick pace,
But another part of me is so looking forward to spring,
and I’ve enjoyed not freezing for the last couple of weeks…lol
