A Time For Reflection And Gratitude!

Many people around the world will be celebrating
Christmas and the New Year.
Some for religious beliefs and others just because
it’s a holiday season.
A great time to see family and friends and catch up on news
or plan for the future.
Also a time for reflection.
Personally I thought it was a really frustrating time this year.
We have just moved house and still have boxes everywhere!
My telephone only just got connected this morning after being
a week without….. and my internet connection may take another
two weeks!
This will undoubtably cost me in loss of income as I’m unable to
perform the various tasks I do to promote my sites….
There is also the hassle of driving round to my daughters house and
‘trying’ to check my emails and offer support etc. – while struggling to
think due to the constant disruption cuased by my wonderful
grandchildren…. hehe
(I know – I’m far too young to be a grandad… so don’t spread it around) 
So here I am wallowing in self pity at all the hassle involved, the frustration
and lack of co-operation from various agencies, organisations and companies!
Then while reading my support emails, I’m reminded that many of my online
friends and readers are still to get a business up and running, many are yet to
show a penny piece in profit !!
WOW – don’t we all tend to find trivial stuff to complain about!! ??
As positive and passionate as I like to be, and as much as I value so much
in my life – Like anyone else, some things frustrate and annoy…..
Well I can tell you right here and now that I’ll be having a serious think
about life’s priorities over this holiday season….
I know everyone will have situations and thoughts that will matter far more
than anyone else’s personal gripes and moans….
But here’s something that is really making me think and reflect on what
really matters.
Having not checked into my usual forums while moving and using my
daughters PC to just check emails….. I was unaware of a significant tragedy.
Only when reading an email from Robin (a subscriber and oinline friend)
did I discover that Colm Butterly had died on the 16th dec !
Colm was a Moderator and admin guy in a popular forum I also moderate in.
He was so clued up with anything techy, and seemed to be on the net 24/7 just
to answer questions and offer advice to newbies who were stuck!
I had the priviledge of chatting to Colm by email , Private message and on the telephone
on many occassion – I use his hosting service for a good few of my sites….
and I can tell you that everything people say about the man is very very true
from my experience.
A real gent… someone who truly helped people for nothing more than a
thankyou and a smile!
Among other things Colm was a Computer Engineer, Internet Marketer,
SEO Expert and Author ….

And yet now he is no longer here…
He leaves a family who must surely be having an awful Christmas without him.
(I really can’t imagine how truly awful that must be)
So no matter what is happening in our lives – I’d like to take a moment to
express my appreciation for having know Colm a little..
And add my thanks and gratitude for what I do have in my life …
I want to take time to reflect on the things I’m grateful for – and I would encourage
anyone who reads this to do the same!

to share.
I know he will be greatly missed in the forums, and many people will be very sad that he’s
no longer around.
Life does go on, and we will quickly remember him with fondness and gratitude – but his family,
like any who suffer losses, will feel the pain forever.
I’m so sorry about that and about not being able to say or do anything to comfort them.
So all I feel I can do – is to be grateful, to appreciate, and to reflect on what is important.
So that is my message to you this Christmas….
Know that a man called Colm Butterly is no longer with us – and that he will be missed.
And be grateful for those who are special to you.
Reflect on what matters – then set your goals and focus on living a life as passionate as Colm did

Well what a week it’s been!
I haven’t done as well for John Thornhill’s RRB as I would
have liked to (he really is a good guy with great products
and I owe him for a lot of what I’ve achieved)
But quite honestly – I haven’t put 100% into promoting this week.
I’ve moved house, and trust me when I tell you -
everything that could go wrong with the move did !
Then my trusty Landrover failed it’s MOT test (that’s a UK annual
road safety check for those who don’t know)
So that’s been in the garage getting fixed up for 2 days…
thankfully it’s back tomorrow – and has now passed…. phew!
Finally with limited internet access – the countdown timer for my
new site when walkabout ????
So I have no idea what the state of play was…. hehe
And just to add insult to injury – I upset more than one JV partner
by giving my new product as a bonus to John’s RRB!
So – as I did say in my last …that offer is now finished.
Well done to those who grabbed it – andthanx for the messages
telling me what an awesome bonus package it was
(they really thrilled me)
So my big lesson here – is NOT to get over excited when you
have a really great product to launch Randy…
But to first ensure everything is in place ….
and that means emails to JV partners, all relevant pages,
and support people if you have them – for the
“just in case moments” when things might go wrong.
And don’t move house in the middle of it all….. lol
But hey – if we all learn something – then none of it is a failure..
just lessons learnt.
And when they cost you hard ca$h – you learn them so much quicker
believe me on that one…. hehe

I’m rushing to get this out because I’m limited for time.
I’m still putting the finishing touches on my new site.
(And I’m supposed to be packing – we’re moving house
on Sunday!! – which is something I’m useless at… I go into

step-by-step template of how to construct a sales page; and I’m glad
it was you that did it. I couldn’t think of a more qualified person to
put this together.
I think many people are afraid of writing sales pages; it can be a
daunting task if you’re not an expert. I have to admit it’s my least
favourite part of product creation!
I love the way you take a sales page and break down each section
of it with helpful tips and reasoning for each part. It’s then just a case
of adapting it to your own product.
For anyone who runs a mile from creating a sales page and can’t
afford to pay thousands to have one created for them, this is a god-send.
