It’s finally live,
The report I mentioned months ago is on the web at last!
Crikey it took me long enough -
I fell victim to many of the lessons I try and get across
to you, All sorts of things ‘got in the way’.
For those who’ve been on my list a while – you’ll
remember months ago I mentioned starting on a report to
help people find a successful route to self improvement.
Drawing from all my years in direct sales – I put together
a report that I firmly beieve will help anyone who reads it…….
BUT THEN….
I got sidetracked on numerous occasions, With doing some
copywriting work for a few people things got put on hold.
Then I wanted to add more value when I went back to it – so
I searched and searched for some bonuses to
add. That lead me to finding one that I had rights to that
is related – so I added it.
But to be honest, I still wanted to put more of me in the package…
So I ended up writing a 7 part pdf series on top of the
original product…. That’s in there too now!

But throughout it all – I stressed to my kids that the one
thing no-one could take away was my integrity. My
word was my bond and the people I did business with knew
that…. I so wanted to hammer that point home
to my family just as my father had with me.
Anyway – I’m getting sidetracked here – so back to

Naturally the release of HeadPaint is the most important
event in internet history this week !
hehe…..
But just in case you wanted to know what else was going
on….. 
I see that another big program with a ‘not too cheap’
monthly fee has hit the net running….. However
without naming names – It’s not one I’ll be bothering
wth….. according to early reviewers – half of what was
promised isn’t even in the members area yet…. That
always rubs me the wrong way —- when these big
marketers spend more time on their mile long salespage
convincing us we must have their service…. Only
to find they are planning to use the cash earned to
actually put the site together with after they have us
sold !!!
On to other things – if you want to know more shout me at
my new support desk….
Oh yeah — There’s an exciting thing for me,
This came about because my isp was playing up and putting
some of your emails to me into quarantine!!
I couldn’t access them and even when I complained – I was
told they were working on it!!
Well that wasn’t good enough… I want to be contactable
by any of my friends, customers and online
contacts…. I don’t want people thinking I’m getting too
big for my boots and saying I don’t still answer all
my emails.
So long story short I now have a support desk at

I’ve got to be honest, You know what I’m
like with anything techy!!! – I was completely stuck!
So good old Lee from StandingStartProfits
put me in touch with another
member there called Alex Albert (he’s more well known for
his $7 templates) but hey – it turns out he does
graphics and script installs too.
In a nutshell…. I grabbed the script for

And Alex had it done and dusted for me in around half an
hour (that was after I’d spent nearly two hours
trying to get my head around the instructions…lol)

Paula Brett has since been in there and made it look real pretty for me
(Turns out she also does installs….lol – Now they come out of the woodwork!)
If anyone wants to install their own and just need some
clearer instructions…. Another great guy from
Planet & SSP forums, Mark, is currently working on a report
with screen shots etc to make the task
easier… give me a shout if you’d like a copy once he’s
done – and I’ll see what I can get out of him…lol
I think he may give it away using Dan’s new software the
BoomerangListBuilder (BLB) ….whoa – that’s
another thing that’s happened since I last wrote {!firstname_fix}..
Crikey – have I been hibernating.. or is there always
something going on???
What a fast paced world we live in today…
So yeah Dan Thompson, Yet another forum friend who has done
specials on his software before for us,
has released one of the coolest bits of software to help
with listbuilding…
(I know it’s easy to use – I tested it for him and made
him make it easier – see my testimonial on his page…lol)
Rather than go on and on – you can watch a video on his
site to see how it works…. basically if you want
an easy way to build a list – do take a look…. (Oh and
he’s dropped it from $67 back to $47)
Dan has also written a script to make the affiliate page
for HeadPaint as a favour to me… and I’ve asked
him if he will consider letting other people use it as it
makes things so much simpler… so if it’s not on the
page when you get there – do expect a link to be added
soon…. and hopefully free
EDIT – It’s not on my site yet …. but Dan has just told me
he’s put it on his blog moments ago…and yes – free.
I’ve just realised how much I still wanted to tell you…..
Flippin ‘eck — I think we’d best both grab a coffee (or

notice a new design again… I know I never seem
to get them perfect (way too techy)..
I end up asking Robin to patch it up after I mess it up…lol
But you might notice a new ‘thingy’ called blogrush.
(It’s over on the right – with a little link on the bottom)
Now the reviews on this have been great – then bad and now
improving again… however – the way I see it
is that’s it’s free so it can’t do any harm and may
just get me more traffic to my blog…
It’s like a traffic exchage for blogs,
The more it’s seen – the more you’re links are shown.
Click on it at the bottom and read all about it – free
always sounds good to me – if it’s something worth
checking … and this just might be
Another freebie that is doing great is Todd Gross’s
freemonthlygift site
I have an odd link to it and have referred just 14 people -
but I’m actually making money every month with
it, Not fortunes I’ll grant, but 100% of any sale he makes
from his efforts… he dishes out the freebies and
send out promotings and I get the ca$h … very nice – do
grab yourself a JV spot if you haven’t already…
then you can refer a few people and get some extra ca$h
too.
Wow – I think I’m almost done …..phew
Unless something else pops into my head there were just 2
or 3 other mentions I wanted to make
I’m off to the Britpack 3 day event on the 5th, 6th & 7th
Oct… I can’t wait to report back from that, It’s not
cheap but I think it will be great for anyone who attends
in the long term…. if you can swing it I’d love to
meet up there and see how we can get some JV’s sorted with
other nice people we might meet.
I’m hoping I’ll bump into Alex Jeffreys there – he’s the
guy that has EasyProfitAuctions that I reviewed a few
weeks back…
I’m really pleased to say I’m enjoying being in his
forums too – and the more I see of it the more I keep
being impressed not only with his system – but also with
his approach to his subscribers in the forum.
Alex really does try hard to help people succeed, and you
almost feel like he’s trying to drag everyone with
him as he becomes more successful himself.
I say drag… he’s actually be kicking me up my backside !
- I joined a beta test of his next big launch …
(can’t say much right now) basically he’s virtually forced me to
get things done that should have taken months
with my old working habits….
So he’s definitely someone I’d enjoy meeting face to
face.
So if you haven’t checked him out – do have a read of my
review
I really am getting more impressed with his site the more
time I spend on it.
Well I think that just about covers everything I wanted to
… but I can’t have all these mentions of marketers
who I like without giving a mention to John Thornhill… if
it wasn’t for John, I wouldn’t have so many
contacts, as much income and …well – I have a lot to
thank him for ….
…….so naturally it goes without saying I can highly
recommend anyone who hasn’t looked yet -
visiting his mentorship program and consider $10
a heck of an investment….
If you’ve already looked that’s cool – I hope you forgive me
for mentioning some programs again…. it’s
because new people keep joining us, and I
wouldn’t want them missing out and spending
on lesser programs because we hadn’t mentioned the good

* Hols Over – Back to a Hail of PLR!
Well Our holidays are over and I’m back into the full
swing of things now.
Thanx to everyone that sent best wishes – We appreciated it
We had a great break and I suppose the best story other
than boring you with lots of ‘how great the weather
was for us’ tales —- would have to be going out
to Sea in a motor boat.
Dave (who owns the spot where we stayed) also happens to
have a beautiful motor boat, shear luxury and really smart.
Anyway – long story short he took us out for a days boating
when we went round the coast and parked up at a pub for
some lunch….
Yeah – I know, I’m not using the correct terminology…..
Hey I’m no sailor!
After lunch Cameron asked if he could have a drive? of the
boat and to our surprise Dave allowed him to.
He actually did a fantastic job of it and paid close
attention to everything our captain instructed (which was
really good for a 9 year old) – BUT...
I know I always have them don’t I ?
One instruction was to avoid any bouys in the water, as
Dave didn’t want to have any rope caught up in
the propellors.
That was fine in the harbours and marina, as we were going
very slowly (you have to – they have speed limits)
Well the steering is very sluggish at low speed and the
wheel needs a full turn to have any effect!
HOWEVER – once out to sea the speed was something like 4 or
5 times faster…. and at those speeds
the slightest nudge of the wheel turns the boat.
I wish, I wish – you could have seen Sara’s face – it would
have made an excellent picture.
Cameron saw a bouy and duly took note and round he went
with a full half turn of the wheel ………..
I think “Whooooaaaaa” was the word that came from my lips
as the boat suddenly banked left at what felt
like 45 degrees to the water line….. Sara’s threw her
hands in the air motioning that she wanted to just go
forwards and not fall out of the boat…. Cameron thought
it was great and loved it… and Dave had to spin
the wheel back to right the boat and let everyon’e breathe
again……
Flippin Brilliant….lol – Seriously tho -
the day on such an expensive luxury and immaculate
craft was the highlight of the holiday for me …and
Cameron too I believe, He’s now showing the photo’s
off at school.
ANYWAY…..
This is supposed to be a marketing email….. hehe
So I hope you’ve enjoyed your holiday season and are back
into the swing of things too ?
And if you hadn’t guessed – I’m going to mention some

Now quite seriously I have to recommend PLR as it’s what I
used to start generating a regular income for myself.

None of it will do any good sitting on your pc,
And the next worse thing anyone could do is just sell it as
it is!!
The real secret to PLR material is to CHANGE IT !!
Not just the title but go through the whole product and
re-do it in your style … add stuff you know to it,
change the chapter heading and the graphics too…. make
it unique.
Then you will have a product of your own….
After that it’s your choice – either just sell it yourself
OR use the $7 script to build yourself a list or even list
it on ClickBank for others to promote and make some ca$h
yourself as well as building your list.

So – All that said and I haven’t given you a l’nk….lol

Some Advice When Hiring A Copywriter
Some advice when hiring a copywriter
Guys there are many and I mean many copywriters available to
write copy for you, and their prices are as varied as their
writing styles.
However the reason for this post is to give some input to
what you may wish to take into consideration when going
down the route of outsourcing your copy needs.
First – Ask around…. Ask in forums where you visit if
anyone can recommend someone,
Ask people you know on msn, even consider asking people
who’s list you may be on (if they’ve provided you with
good info and are available to ask)
Second – Have a look at some prices of those who made it
onto your list, and decide if you can comfortably budget to
professionally written copy?
I mention this because there are some HUGE differences in
prices for copywriting with the top guys charging in the
region of $25,000 plus a share of revenue!
It’s not uncommon to see prices of $3 – 5,000 quoted for a
salespage, but that doesn’t mean you’ll get a poor job at
less money….. the important thing to remember is how much
you think you’ll make from the sales of your product.
Third – following the last point – do your own feasibility
study, have you got people with large lists lined up to
promote your product?….. are you going to cover your
costs?
Fourth – consider other options if required, such as buying
software to help write your own, starting your own swipe
file of good salesletters to inspire you, even visiting
sites like mine to take inspiration from ‘examples or work
done’ – most good copywriters will have some.
Fifth – If you decide you need to have someone write the
copy, and you seen some examples of work…. CHECK with the
copywriter if it his/her own work of if the subcontract any
of it out, do they employ staff to write for them, do they
have students in training that write their copy?…. all
relevant questions as you’ll later see.
Sixth – Agree the ‘How Much’ and the ‘Deadlines’ before
paying your deposit
Seventh – Do check if tweaks and rewrites are part of the
deal before hand.
Eigth – IF you take any special offers – do read every bit
of small print before you make your decision.
